"userdataleafname"="Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars" "installpath"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars" "readme"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\\Support\\readme.txt" This registry is from the machine where custom maps load correctly: Specifically, where the locations were in the registry. It worked out of the box with custom maps on the steam version, but the Origin version was lacking registry entries that were shown on the computer with the Steam version. I have Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars 3 on Steam and in Origin.

If the mods you have are requiring you to use WrathED, then they are most likely Kane's Wrath mods.I found how to make the custom maps work. Kane's Wrath mods are NOT compatible with Tiberium Wars, and vice versa-two different games here. You use WrathED instead to launch your mods (but always be sure to launch WrathED as admin). Kane's Wrath doesn't have the Game Browser feature in its secondary UI.

"WrathED" is a mod launcher for Kane's Wrath-the expansion game to Tiberium Wars. Then from there, select the mod and hit play. In the new UI that pops up, select Game Browser, then select the Mods tab at the top of the new window that pops up. This will bring up a secondary UI for the game. After that, in the Target field, put a space and -ui at the very end of the filepath noted there (right after the quotation marks, if any).

Then, right click the shortcut and select Properties. Then, to launch the mods, you need to create a shortcut to CNC3.exe. You need to make sure that WHEN you place the mod folders, they all need to be arranged as such:ĭocuments\Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods\Mod_Folder\Mod.big and Mod.skudef filesįor example, Tiberium Essence: Documents\Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods\Tiberium Essence\TE.big and TE.skudef files So, to run mods on Tiberium Wars, you need to go into your PC's Documents folder, and place the folders for each mod under Documents\Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods\ (If the Mods folder doesn't exist, make it yourself.) Okay, now that that's out of the way, let's get on with the actual installing/running of mods. Either is fine mine aim to work as an enhanced equivalent to Bibber's. These launchers re-enable command line parameters for the games since The Ultimate Collection kinda screwed all of that up.īibber's you're gonna have to hunt down yourself, unless someone posts a link to them here. If you are running The Ultimate Collection, you need to apply either my fixed launchers or the fixed launchers from Bibber (if you can find them). Since you haven't specified WHICH version of the game on Origin you are using, let me make this super clear: if you are running the stand-alone version of the game (just Tiberium Wars itself), then skip this. Right click the game in your Game Library in Origin, select Game Properties, then uncheck the options for both features. You need to disable Origin In Game for your game as well as the cloud saves option for it. Okay, since you've said you're using Origin, there's a finicky way of doing things.
